This album manages to improve on the sound she engineered in her 2022 album 'preacher's daughter' while serving as its sequel. Some songs really stand out as imaginitive and as a continuation of her sound, but these tracks are unfortunately drowned out by a sea of singer-songwriter post-rock, and hardly groundbreaking lyrics.
